Janet Walton Dukes is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She currently resides in Virginia. She is the mother of one daughter and two sons, and a grandmother of one. Jarrell has Down Syndrome and is the inspiration for the Harold and Tyler books. Jordan is the illustrator of our books. Jazalyn is the editor of the books. Janet hopes that all of her books will inspire children and adults alike to accept themselves and others as they are.
